Aksêptuhns is a dream of a Mosotho-Motswana man whose entire life journey has revolved around acceptance (Aksêptuhns) and embracing who he is against all odds and obstacles put in his way.
Being at peace with the self differs from person to person, but we have been African long before the world tried to tell us what it should mean to be African.
When you close your eyes, you no longer see the image of Africa that the outside world taught you to see. When you close your eyes and listen, you hear the voice of your ancestors and the rhythm that is authentically African.
Aksêptuhns was born of two parents. The first was the yearning for an authentic African store. The second was the need for an online store. Healers absorb the energy around them, and going from shop to shop can be exceptionally draining.
Even though Aksêptuhns is still in its infancy, it dreams of becoming a space where the outcasts can rest and restock for the journey ahead. A place where we can breathe, take a step back, embrace our essence and Aksêpt our true selves.
